The Town of Wakefield has been authorized to print and display a commemorative plate for the Town of Newfields’ 250th Anniversary.

One commemorative plate may be attached to the front of a motor vehicle in place of the regular number plate; however, the rear number plate must remain in place. A motor vehicle displaying an anniversary plate must be legally registered and inspected for the current year. These plates may be displayed until December 31, 2024.

Vehicles inspected during this time period would not fail for having the commemorative plate on the front of the vehicle in place of the regular number plate.
