Non-Communication and No Voltage Warnings

The NHOST unit is programmed to warn mechanics when “Non-Communication” or “No Voltage” is detected during an OBD inspection.

The warning light – located on the right side of the Main Menu screen on your NHOST unit – will start out yellow, go to orange then ultimately red after consecutive Non-Communication or No Voltage is detected.

It is important to follow the instructions on the screen to resolve the error. If the error is not resolved it will result in the unit not being allowed to complete an OBD inspection.

It is very important not to ignore the warning light. Ignoring the warning lights will interrupt your ability to perform inspections.

If your NHOST Unit displays an “OBD WARNING” light, please place your cursor on the light and click on it, this will bring up a screen with information concerning the type of error that is being detected. Please follow the on screen instructions to correct the problem that caused this warning.

As always, do not hesitate to contact the NHOST Tech Help Line at 800-383-4124 for further assistance.
